Inspired by the ancient Sardinian earth-built towers and observatories called ‘Nuraghe’, a make-shift observatory is conceived using moving boxes made of cardboard. Bearing the name 'Big Pack Bauhaus X', the cardboard boxes stand in rebellion against the concrete monuments of the brutalist architecture of Ruhr University, Bochum.

Conceived as an ephemeral installation, the structure was built taking into consideration the unpredictability of the weather and thus opening the work to the possibility of failure.
